Description:

Web-based presentation software and storytelling tool for exploring and sharing ideas on a virtual canvas. Prezi lets you create non-linear, “zooming” presentations. Create a map of your ideas, images, videos, then show overview, zoom to details, amaze and convince. Prezi is a cloud-based (SaaS) presentation software and storytelling tool for presenting ideas on a virtual canvas. The product employs a zooming user interface (ZUI), which allows users to zoom in and out of their presentation media, and allows users to display and navigate through information within a 2.5D or parallax 3D space on the Z-axis. Prezi was officially established in 2009 by co-founders Adam Somlai-Fischer, Peter Halacsy and Peter Arvai.

  • Prezi : An Online Presentation Tool

A presentation tool that is cloud-based and user can perform presentation from his/her browser, iPad, iPhone or Android device. If there are any modifications made, the changes are synced across all devices.
There are plenty of templates for user to choose from. The content can be reused and saved to the library.
You can save the presentations as PDF files, images, movies or HTML. The downside is that you can not open PowerPoint files.
The user interface is quite different from the usual slideshow makers. But it is aesthetically refreshing. Pretty intuitive.
Help and support are very useful. The Getting Started videos are well made. The user manual has to be connected online in order to have the access to it.
Another downside is no "save as" which is quite strange. There is no vector graphic support. And the text editing is too rudimentary for a presentation tool.
