** CES 2013 - Mobile App Showdown Winner **
With MyScript© Calculator, perform mathematical operations naturally using your handwriting.
**The Free handwriting calculator for your iPhone or iPad**
Easy, simple and intuitive, just write the mathematical expression on the screen then let MyScript technology perform its magic converting symbols and numbers to digital text and delivering the result in real time.
The same experience as writing on paper with the advantages of a digital device (Scratch-outs, results in real time, …).
Solve mathematical equations by hand without actually having to crunch the numbers yourself

Calculator app works best for homework but not daily operations
The app could transform handwritten mathematical expression to the answer. It could recognize and process expressions from fractions and exponentials to trigconometric functions to different constants. By handwritting users could input much faster than typing. It could also solve single variable equations.
The app could help solving intermediate level mathematics problems. It is most useful for students in secondary school since it still lacks quite a lot of common operators in college level, factorials, summations, integration and differentiation etc.
It may not be so useful for people only do daily operations (a normal calculator would do well) but it is great for students.
Be aware that the result is sometimes given too fast, before users finishing the expression. Better to add an “enter” button or reaction time option in settings.
Tips for using the product
Use a stylus rather than finger.
